Equipment
We use the latest noise technology on the market. The SVAN 977 Class 1 Sound & Vibration Level Meter and analyser is designed to meet the needs of both environmental monitoring and occupational health and safety monitoring specialists. Its exceptional hardware design also enables the measurement of ultra sound frequencies in the 40 kHz band.
The capabilities and functions of our devices include:
Measurement data is downloaded to a PC using SvanPC++ software where we carefully examine and analyse noise measurements to ensure accuracy. SvanPC++ is an advanced PC software with the latest functionalities and capabilities modern technology has to offer.
All our equipment are calibrated on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy in the field. We use the SV 33 Class 1 Acoustic Calibrator that produces an acoustic pressure of defined level 114 dB at frequency of 1 kHz. Our calibrators operate over a wide range of ambient temperature and humidity assuring excellent stability of the calibration levels and their frequency.
The capabilities and functions of our devices include:
- Simultaneously operate in meter mode and perform real-time 1/1 or 1/3 octave analysis including statistical calculations for either long term and/or short term monitoring.
- Real-time FFT analysis and Rotation Speed Measurement are also available.
- Audio recording can be performed simultaneously with time history logging as either a separate wave file or as audio events inside time history files. This solution enables noise source recognition and data post-processing.
- Measurement results are recorded in three acoustic or vibration profiles enabling measurements to be performed with 3 different filters (e.g. A, C, Z) and 3 different detector time constants (e.g. Fast, Slow, Impulse).
